The Originals, a história gira em torno da primeira família de vampiros que vive no bairro francês de New Orleans. Retornando à cidade após séculos afastado, Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan), híbrido de vampiro e lobisomen, se reúne com o maléfico Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), seu antigo protegido.
No elenco também estão Phoebe Tonkin, Daniel Gillies (Saving Hope), Claire Holt, Daniella Pineda, Danielle Campbell (vista em Prison Break) e Leah Pipes (Life is Wild, The Deep End), entre outros.
